Model of the month 2011, June - 3D printers

Juni 2011

This month we are presenting something new, a model created with a 3D printer.

From my ideas my friend Daniel did do a CAD drawing. That drawing I did send further to Shapeways in the Netherlands. They did print it out on a 3D printer and sent it further to me for 33 euro, including transport.

This is only first prototype, but basically this is how the finished model will look like. Only new couplers and shorter distance between the wheels will follow on the next version.

There is several different materials to choose from.
