Events 2011 - April 16th, New Coach

Our van #628 from NKLJ got new 600mm gauge bogies today. The wagon frame along with the these bogies from Halmstad Iron mill will make a new bogie flat. The frame is 8m * 2.1m

Next is cutting of the frame on top, narrow it and mount it on another wagon, flat wagon #33. It then will get new planking, windows, roof and benches inside transforming it to a new coach for our line.

This van was originally a two-axle wagon on NKLJ which is (was) a 891mm gauge line (3 swedish feet). You can still see the axlebox frames on one of the pictures. These will of course be removed later on.
