History

hist1

The line was started back in 1969 in Blixterboda just outside Frövi, by two guys as a hobby line only. They did continue as this until 1977, when the association was started.

hist2

Several vehicles has been received from different industries as a gift, but often also bought, paid by the members or with money from running trains for the public. Coaches from these small lines are since long gone, but pictures remains which made it possible to build replicas.

At the year 1987 the association has grown so big, that the community offered some new land to build a more permanent line at Hagaberg, there we are today.

1988 the move to Hagaberg was started. 1989 first track was laid out. The line is now 1 kilometer and goes from Hagaberg, thrue woods, crossing the road, passing farming fields and "Granskogen" a short stop and down to "Talludden" there our end station is today. Talludden lays just a few yards from the lake Väringen.

hist3

At Talludden there is an old pumpstation which belonged to TGOJ (an old main line). There is plans to restore and use it for our steam locos in the future. There has also been plans to extend the tracks down to the lake, but this has been prosponed to a later date.
